I Love Taekwondo: Contest Poster

This poster was created for the South Korea consulate located in Ghana, South Africa. The phrase “I Love Taekwondo” represents the love for the sport as well as Korean culture. This poster was created for an art / essay contest in Ghana. Keeping in mind that this poster would have a high amount of content on it, I felt this it was important for it to be detailed and still have great creativity the reflected culture overall. I wanted the poster to grab peoples attention.

About Project

In the Summer of 2013, I decided to travel to the locations of Seoul and Jeju Island in South Korea in search of new ideas and aspects of design that would come to mind as I was traveling around. Along the way, I photographed many different locations, many of them eye-catch and some very touching. I always feel that a photograph is worth a thousand words, and while on this trip I was able to further discover my love for photography and my abilities on how to photograph well.
